Not far away, Cheverny Castle, famous for having inspired the Moulinsart castle in the Tintin adventures, captivates visitors with its elegance and magnificent gardens. The town of Blois, with its royal castle, offers a journey through the history of the kings of France. Blois is also famous for its ‘Maison de la Magie’ and its picturesque narrow streets.
The region is also renowned for its natural heritage, particularly the Sologne, renowned for its forests and wetlands, perfect for nature lovers and birdwatchers. In autumn, you can come here to listen to the stags bellowing.The Sologne is also a great hunting area, one of the best stocked regions in France for big game (roe deer, wild boar, red deer) and game birds (pheasant, pigeon, woodcock).
Finally, wine lovers can explore the surrounding vineyards, which produce the famous wines of the Loire Valley.
